The dealer just called, and the new 3500's anticipated date of birth is August 1st, 2001. Add 7 to 17 days for shipping, and we may finally see the beast by mid-to-late August! :D

Sorry to sound like a newbie, but I'm sure at least a few of y'all can remember what the waiting process is like - especially since our first order went in in early May of this year!!

Yeah, it is a good feeling. I imaginge the anticipation is brutal... it was for me. Of course I was watching the gas prices go up every day while I was waiting. have you been over to Fritz's site where you can enter the VON or VIN and track it throughout the entire process? Sorry I dojn't remember what the link is, but it's there.

You can also track it on rail to your shipping yard. I did that and printed out several sheets that told the place, time, estimated arrival at destination. DC will give you a railcar number if you call and ask. Then go to the RR site, or ask Katdiesel for help!

Good for you man-that's really not that far around the corner now! I had to wait 10 weeks to get my truck-seemed like an eternity. However once it arrived the truck was well worth the wait... I'm so glad I ordered exactly what I wanted instead of "settling" for something off the lot.

Here's hoping you love yours as much as I love mine!
