Sorry for the eariler post regarding a P0002 code, my memory ain't what it use to be.

I really have a P0004 code according to my cheap Red Chinese reader. I cleared it a couple times, but it still returns after a short time. Any ideas? I did recently had dead batteries (and I mean dead). They have been changed to a new pair of AMG's and I added a solar panel charger.

Again, any ideas? Thanks!

no such code. this is a problem with the cheap code readers. you need to get a smarty jr anyway. the p codes start at p0016 on a 08

I had one battery go south on me last fall, replaced both and had to have the computer reprogrammed. You might have your dealer check it out.

Nothing happens to the controller that requires reprogramming. There may well be an update available though
