I had help of course, we got the injectors in and also adjusted the valves. The truck has allot more low end power. The top end is about the same by the seat of my pants. When it idles it sounds like it has a miss, runs and sounds fine other than that. I noticed I have to let it idle longer for cool down. Is it possible there is a valve adjustment a tick too tight? When you idle the gear shift vibrates, it did not before, or is this normal with the injectors. Engine noise is allot quieter.

Any thoughts?

You might have a valve to tight but one of the injectors may be a little tight. Fuel pressure is lower at idle and the injector might not be opening. With added rpm fuel pressure goes up and the injector opens. Two ways to check for this. With truck cold let idle for about 10 minutes. Check temp on the exhaust manifold leaving each cylinder. If one is significantly lower thats the bad injector. Other way is the same but run till hot and let idle for 10 minutes bad cylinder will be colder. Very easy to check temps with one of those infared heat guns. :D

Mine idles lumpy with 275's and the stockers but the III's took care of it. Must be the constant fuel lubrication in the cylinders or something like that. :D

Snug the injector bridges, snug the connector tubes/injection line nuts, then torque the bridge bolts to 75-89 in lb (6-7 ft lb). Then take the injection line nuts to 28 ft lb. The connector tubes have to seal well into the injector bodies without being so tight they distort the injector.

Thanks for all the tips. I rechecked the valves this morning, there was one too tight!!! It idels and runs like a camp now. I am very pleased with the 275's. I have a 250 mile road trip tomarrow.

Joseph Donnelly, Thanks for the injectors and destructions! You are a big help. Now I can't wait to get my EZ back.
