I guess I'm a first timer

I bought my first an only Cummins diesel new in 1998. Does this qualify me for posting in this catagory?



Actually, I just wanted to post the first message here. Welcome to all First Time Cummins Diesel Owners. A word of warning. Cut up all your credit cards now! There is no known cure for this disease, once it sets in.

I am a first time as well although I have had my truck for two years now. I definately like my Cummins way better then the Dodge V-10 I use to have.

How can a LITTLE six banger compare to a V-10???? For heck's sake man. Them stinky noisy deesels can't use NEAR the fuel my V-10 can and fuel=power, right?? Lessee... ... I got about..... 100 hp per cylinder... . 10 cylinders... . umm... that means this here truck has got 1258 hp, right?? Right??? Where ya goin' ?

You forgot the fact them 10's get 20-25 mpg even towing If not it's probably just a clogged air filter from the diesel soot left on the way byOo. Oo.

Guess I'm a first timer too. Had mine about a year now. No going back. This is the best truck I've owned... and I've had a couple new ones before. This one will still be going when those are long dead.



TDR has been a great place to learn about my truck and make some new friends. Oo. Oo.
