I have a chance to buy back an old friend,whadda you think?

When I decided to buy my CTD I had to sell my old truck. It was a 1977 highboy F250 4x4 manual transmission and divorced transfer case that I had bought new and owned it for 21 happy years. It was a really good stout truck. My friend took good care of it since. The engine tossed a rod and he has decided to buy a diesel now for many of the same reasons that I decided to. He has offered to sell it back to me for $2,000. The hard part is now i would have to sell my 79 cj5 to afford the truck back. I will probably just find a gas engine for now but someday wouldn't a 12 valver be sweet in there?

So what would yo do?

Cant beat an old friend like that. And for sure they dont make them like they use too.

Do it, but realize I am very, very partial towards the 73-79 Fords. Have you seen how much redone Hi-boys are going for?? Its nuts. If you need any parts, let me know I've got a barn full of stuff for these trucks.
