I think i have finally figured out something completely unique for my truck

I am wanting to get silver buckstops front and rear, one of the outback model front bumpers, and a standard rear. Then i think i will get sport headlights, red ringed sport taillights, and top it off with a red sport grill

then i think i will put on a steel cowl induction hood, and sport decal badging. should make my standard ram 2500 into a cool lookin 2 toned sport model truck. What do y'all think

Go for It, Its your truck

Fix It the way you want It to look. That what I do. If you got your new Issue of the TDR did you see the truck with the sleeper and the fram stretch. One shary truck. Would like to see better pictures of the truck.

i really liked that truck too, i am mainly gettin some feedback on the idea, it will be a while to completion, i do need to know how hard it is to do the conversion on the lights and the grill. i know the bumpers are expensive and that is probably what will take the longest to get, the rest i am fairly sure i can get together fairly quick.

The lights are easy!

A quick recap- What are the benefits of the sport head lights compared to the normal ones???

Also, that sounds like a nice looking truck. I also want a different front bumper, but would rather have aluminum, as i hate to sling too much more weight up there, but I am a broke college kid, so that will pry have to wait till i get out, or design my own. Good luck!!

Kevin,

the sport headlights have a more focused beam and have two bulbs compared to one in the standard housings.

In the sport lights, one bulb runs low beam and the other runs high beam. So, the reflectors are aimed for this use.

Also, when doing the conversion, you can wire both filaments on with low or all on for high or whatever you choose.

Even in a stock aport mode, they are far superior ti the other fixtures.
