New Chrysler/Dodge Specialty Shop Opening!

I walked into the Canton 5 Star and couldn't find the parts department. When I asked a young lady, she directed me to the "Parts Boutique", I had to say "No lady, I want the parts department!" Well things were in the sewer at that point and went down hill from there.

I arrived at the "Parts Boutique" and found a huge selection of 1. Toys, diecast jeeps and power Wagons, really neat stuff. 2. Jewelery (MB Mazda etc. ) 3. Ball caps (used to be called Gime caps but these were high dollar) 3. Bar glasses (drinking) with the M-B Star and all sorts of other stuff.

A guy in a Mazda sweat shirt asked if he could help (a good sign) and I told him I needed a Identification light assembly for a 2001 3500 pickup, he then asked if it was on a Chrysler product (a bad sign). When I told him the lights could be found on the tailgate, he said Chrysler didn't have any thing like that, it must be after market. (a bad, bad sign) At this point I asked if there was a real parts man that could help me, and he said he'd been in the parts business for 30 years (a real bad bad sign) Then I had to ask him if that had been selling Mazda parts or Dodge truck parts. Well to make a long story short, I showed him where to look it up, and the next thing I said was he probably didn't have it in stock . . . . and lo and behold ... he didn't!

No I didn't order it, came back and got on line and ordered it, just like I shoud have in the beginning.

Thought y'all might get a kick out of this. I waon't say anything bad about the dealer, 'cause its not his fault! Ya- right.
