I Love My Wife!!!!

She agreed to drive my truck to Muncie for me. I work on the west coast and live in Kansas. I'm gonna fly to St Louis where she'll pick me up on Friday afternoon drive on in to Muncie for the weekend. Then she's gonna drop me off at the airport in Indianaplolis on Monay morning.



I think I have to be the luckiest guy on the TDR!!!



This traveling has perks. . the flight is free!!!!



What kind of rates are you guys getting on hotels???



cheapest I found was $48/night at the Comfort Inn. I booked at the Ramada for $50/night.

You booked at the Ramada,, I was going to stay at Lee's,, but, Pennies are tight,, especially since I'm adding a few ponies to my Cummins.



Mark, You have a # for Ramada ? I think I might try to stay there ,, Would be cool to park out trucks together in the parking lot. Only differences (Externally) is 2wd vs 4wd, yours has better paint(shinier) and Exhaust system.

I don't list the Ramada because it's on the Southside of town. The hotels listed are all together on the Northside and near the action. The events are both located North of Muncie. Not that a 20 minute drive makes a difference after you have driven as many hours as you will have!



Mark, it's about 4 1/2 hours from St. Louis and you will travel straight through Terre Haute, where the infamous Sheid Diesel Extravaganza is held. Your wife has about 10 hours worth of pavement from what I can recall.



Are we REALLY supposed to think that's nice of her? I'd drive someone's Cummins Ram for them Not to mention it should be illegal for women to drive these trucks, it's hard on the neck of the guys passing by, or getting passed!:--)

I doubt it, tehy are coming to Muncie, just as I will be at their extravaganza like every year!

We are having a "cruise-in" at the Texas Roadhouse in town at 1600. Don't miss it, we dominated the parking lot last eyar, and enjoyed some great steak.

I'll do my best,, I only have about 8 passes down the track so far, and I've never been timed or actually used the "Tree", it was always steet racing.



What are you expecting for a HP # on the dyno Mark?

You have any guesstimates? I'm hoping for 500+

I think we should dyno one after each other Then we can compare dyno charts, and the loser can give excuses about the correction factor, dyno operator,, how the truck was running, etc. etc. hehehe.



If I lose on the dyno, and lose on the dragstrip, I bet I can do a better, smokier, longer burnout than you :-laf
