at 65k, my leather steering wheel is getting worn at TDC where my left hand most often rides- what is out there for comfortable tasteful covers that don't look like they came from JC Whitney?
Someone posted here where you buy a complete OEM wheel that has been reworked, they charge a core so you send yours in for a refund after you change it out.
Real nice with that worn spot of yours color matched, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum or what ever your choice and the rest of the wheel leather wrapped.
Mine was worn though at 12k. The Stealership said it was normal wear and tear. I assured them that I did not coat my hands with sand paper before driving. It went right over their heads.
I only have 8,000 miles on my truck, and I bought a $8. 56 wheel cover from Walmart that matched my trucks interior. The manufacture was Bell. It's a leather simulation with pin holes. It looks good and has that big rig feel.
