Apparently the TST Powermax works on the 600. I was going to get one to try out, but they are too busy to return a phone call. It's ok, race season has started and I need to budget all $$ into parts for the car anyhow... although it would be nice to talk smack to all the other tow vehicles... ;)

pulling big soon... thanks

I spoke with EDGE and Banks in the past two days. EDGE is saying 6-months and Banks said 4-6 weeks. I didn't know about the TST that FAST4DR posted.

TST has a 600 with a box on it that is woking perfectly. The Edge EZ and other variants will also work.

Called and talked to Justin. The EZ is NOT compatible with the 600. Yes, it might WORK, but he stated that due to ECM differences, everything will be "off. "

T/W Mark at TST this AM. He has a 600 and his box has been programmed for it. He said you need to run it on no more than 4 on Torq and 6 on HP as a couple guys have twisted off input shafts on the 48re. At least one of those is suspect as he was pulling a 30k lb trailer. Now that's thinking (smile)!! He's probably 3 weeks behind on orders currently.

I hope this is'nt a stupid question but-will my stock clutch live with another "150 hp and 500 ft lbs? Having always been into gassers, I'm not used to plugging in that kinda power.

no! but with tst you can turn the power up a little at a time then down the road put a sbc in it!

TST says the stock clutch in the six speed will hold up to setting 5:5. This seem to vary widely between clutches for some reason. My clutch (5 speed) holds tight right through all the power I can use before the egt's get out of hand, about level 6:6. This is a slmaller clutch that the six speeds use and TST said it would begin to slip on setting 4:4. I havn't seen it.

I ran an EZ on my 600, the power was there but so was some really bad knocking, RPM flairs at steady throttle, and engine light 0148 fuel delivery error. While the box works flawlessly on my dads 03 SO.

I have a question. How can HP and TQ settings be independent? They are both related, mathematically, so how can you raise one without the other? Maybe I am confused on how the settings work. Someone clarify, please.
