Craftsman Torque Wrench Problem

Does anybody in the Jamestown, Buffalo, Rochester, Olean, Corning, or Erie PA areas have access to a body shop frame machine?

I had a small incident with my race car (1995 BMW M3). The unibody frame rails bent between the front subframe and the core support. I tape measured the suspension points, and they all seem fine. I was able to straighten it out most of the way with my truck, but it still is a little tweaked. I just want to get it straightened the rest of the way before I hang new fenders and core support on the car.

I already have it disassembled. All that needs to be done would be to put it on the frame machine and give it a small tug to finish straightening it out.

Does anybody with in a three hour drive of Jamestown NY have access to a frame machine and be willing to help a fellow member out? I'd much rather pay another TDR memeber than a shop that isn't willing to look at it because they aren't doing the entire repair.

Bernie- Are you a BMWCCA member? Even if you're not, you might try their site, www.bmwcca.org and look up a local chapter. I'm very sure that a member would point you in the right direction. In my experience, the BMW membership is as helpful as the TDR membership is, but they do lack having one single forum as good as this one is. Bruce

Thanks. Yes, I am a member and have been involved in planning some of our events. I've asked around but most of our guys are not in to body/frame work.
