I Need A New Job - Anyone Hiring?

I've been dong some serious reading on all the stuff I could do to my truck and I've come to one conclusion. I'm in the wrong business. I really, REALLY need to find me a job like some of you folks have. I would really like to get my gauges and a set of DDII's, and while I'm at it an Edge box, set of Bilstein shocks, replace the track bars, install a new clutch, swap the exhaust for a pair of 5" stacks, buy a new set of rims, spray the bed, and get some new tires.



Now maybe I don't know my math (and I'm not intelligent enough to use "new math"), but I can not figure out how to pay for all of that on my current pay scale. How in the world do you guys do it? Do you make your wife work to pay all the bills and you pay for the truck stuff? Whatever ya'll are doing let me in on it... or hire me. Either one. I've got to pay for doctor's bills and I need help. I've caught some kind of disease from something called a BOMBing bug. Help!

:-laf :--) :-laf Ain't that the truth! It will all come together in a matter of time. Just make sure you keep an eye on the prices. You can come across a lot of good deals because of this site. The good thing about the TDR is that the members are always looking to upgrade for more power so you can usually pick up slightly used items cheaper than new. Just watch the classifieds.

Great idea, in case anybody's got any used I'm looking for an aluminum hauler bed with box storage before and after the wheels cheap. After I swap out the bed then I need some used 4 or 5 inch stacks. Anybody got any the wanna sell?

Come on guys, just think, you can be involved in improving the looks and function of this truck.

Coulda been me, I deliver everywhere in the 48 that are connected. Actually run more east than west. But there are several around with this Cab extension. I've seen maybe 20 others myself. One guy I talked with about his doesn't even work the truck, just drives around town in it. Longest I've personally seen was a Ford F450 CC Dually with this Cab Extension, that puppy was pushin 30 foot.

How in the world does he drive around town in that?? I have enough difficulty driving my quad cab dually (usually the difficulty is because of other ignorant drivers that think they can use both lanes at the same time). Anyway, I know a guy that has a 1st generation with one of those cab extentions. He's had that thing a long time and he hauls horses to rodeos and horse shows all the time.

Hmmm, I think 6" turn-outs or miter tops would look even better on it. At min. , 5", about a foot or so above the sleeper roof line. May want to check the TDR classifides, sometimes a set pops up.

You're right 5" turnouts minimum, at least a foot over the Cab, maybe 2 foot. Otherwise I'll be blowing soot all over the brandy new 5th wheels I deliver. Actually deliver anything on wheels that's legal. Pony trailer, enclosed car haulers, utility trailers, stacks of anything that can be stacked, and tag RV campers. Recently delivered a goose pony trailer with two golf carts in it. Last trip was to Las Vegas with a 30' tag camper.

Steve beat me to it but that's what I would have said. Adult films are out for now. Don't really care to climb trees either... . unless you let me cut it down first and then I'll go anywhere you want and work on it.

On a serious note, I've sold other toys that aren't getting used like a dirt bike I sold a while back bought my guages, plate, gsk and a few other things. I also do odd jobs here and there for friends.
