I put a Rancho on mine. Actually I had the tire shop that did the front end alignment and left the adjusting bolts pointing at it replace it. Caused failure when it got punchered. I could not get the old one off. Do a search and you will find suggestions on removal
I replaced the factory stabilizer with a Rancho. When removing the factory one, you'll need to pop it out with an air hammer. I noticed when installing the Rancho, when the time comes to replace it, I'll only need wrenches. Just my opinion... John
The machined aluminum clamp that attaches to the draglink had to be relieved a few 000's on the back side as it was too close to the diff cover(stock) to suit me. Mine is the older style, so the new design may have more clearance. Kent should know.
I used a pitman arm puller. I “rented” it from Pep Boys. $15 deposit refunded in full when the tool is returned. Do be careful. When the thing finally lets go, it goes of like a shotgun!
