So turns out I need a new 68rfe..for my 15 4x4. Kinda need one ASAP but who doesn't i guess and maybe that is why I can't find one.. Does anyone know of a vendor or company with one ?? I have emailed lots of people that are in the 68rfe business and it seems every one has a 3 week or plus wait before one can even be shipped. I even tried jasper as a last ditch effort they quoted me 6500.00 for a reman the same price as some of the " ghost " ats trans or bd trans I see all over online that are not in stock and 2 months out. But after all that not even jasper has a reman ready to ship. Any leads on an in stock unit that is on a shelf ready to go ?? Im not looking for a full blown monster just a close to stock replacement. I could order a kit but I can't find anyone in the Austin, TX area that can even do a bench job before the end of September. So if any members in the centex area know of a builder that isnt weeks out please let me know. Also any info on sourcing a transmission that I could snap up would be greatly greatly appreciated. Last options would be a mopar reman that I could get in roughly 1- 1 1/2 weeks. I have not found much reading on those particular units plus they would need to install it for the warranty from what I understand ??? So I would still have to wait once trans gets in for it to be installed. Any input on that as far as the mopar reman and warranty with install issue would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any info.

Just curious. How many miles on the transmission and what happened to it? I am assuming it is the original transmission.

Without a VIN can't tell which transmission you need, but of the two listed, dealers stock 13 of one PN and 39 of the other. Looks like about $6-7k for the transmission.

I talked to Monster when I needed a 4L60E for the Avalanche. As many of those that are out there, I still had to basically send mine in and let them rebuild it. By the time I paid shipping and everything I was at dealer price for a reman I could have in a day. If you’re in a hurry, I’d go with the reman Mopar.

Thanks for the info guys. I went ahead with mopar reman. Quickest possible route to get the truck back on the road it seems. So by the end of September or fingers crossed or hopefully sooner should have the truck back on the road.
