I'm trying to get a non-EGR intake thru my local Kenworth/Cummins dealer(Dodge wants $115. 00:eek #ad
. His books only show the intake tube coming strate from the turbo not thru the intercooler. He said if I can give him the engine # from a non-EGR engine he can get it. SSSOOOO, does anyone feel like climbing under their hood to get the engine # off the side plate(drivers side ,front). Thanks alot to anyone who will do this!!!

Probably need the CPL number instead. It's on the data plate on the gear housing at the front of the engine on the driver's side.

To escape the hassle I usually tell them its for a 95 truck, they didn't have that molarky then. By the way, just get a 1"x 3" piece of flat stock and use the gasket to drill the holes for the exhaust manifold block off. The rest just take off and store. You do have to plug one vacume line to.
Good luck.

Thanks for the #,Gitchesum. I just got home from ordering the manifold. Your engine number worked. It costs $65. 00 plus U. P. S. charges(Dodge wanted $115. 00). Now I can't wait to put it on and se what kind of difference it makes. I think I'll "lose" the CAT at the same time. Thanks again.
