I need a quote on hauling a tool box ...

Not sure where on TDR this goes, but I am wanting to buy a tool box and have it shipped to my house. One body know of a hot shorter or some way to get a freight quote? Thanks.

Ps the location is Gurnee IL to Traverse City MI.....
Pss the box is 55x24x24 and weighs 305 lbs.....

You can get quotes here... I used it once to get a good quote, though did not follow through on the bid, as a freind hauled the forklift for me.

I would look for a truck broker at your local truck stop... or on their bulletin board... and find someone with a haul or back haul that has open space... . I'd be surprised if you find someone willing to haul this for you for under $200 unless they are going from that city to your city exactly...

Would you share later what you decide to do...

I think the $200 is a fair price. I was planning on taking the ferry across Lake Michigan to cut my time away in half. If any body knows of a transporter here on TDR hauling RV's, this may be a good extra boost for them. I have not herd from Uship yet. I think there may be a contact problem. Any help or info would be great. Thanks!
