That is what has been diagnosed by Bridgeway Cummins. They have repalced everything else on the truck except that part.



The truck hits 2600 rpm and defuels. New map sensor, new engine wire harness. All mods have been removed from truck before going into shop.

ECM has been reclabrated by Cummins.

The defueling is not a goverened defueling, but a cutout of the injector pump, like the processor on the pump is cycling on and off.

Check the TDR classifeds. Ad # 2168 has a used but working VP44 for $400. 00.

A couple of things to check. The relay for the VP-44. Try swaping the relays around and see if the fixes the problem. Also check the voltage at the VP-44 when the problem happens.



One other thing to check is the ECM MPH reading I have seen where a signal will backfeed into the ECM causing it to read high vehical speed and defuel.

reason... did you have the pump cover installed that pierces the wire ?
