Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I need better boost control! Any Ideas?

I need to find a better way, then the tiny orofice boost elbow, to control boost on my HX35. I can easily spin the boost needle past 35 with the comp on level 3. I know there is a way to control boost more precisely. My wastegate works fine with the stock elbow in place. Any ideas would be appreciated. My plan is to upgrade to something small when the time comes. Maybe a highbred turbo from one of the gurus, not sure. If there is a boost controller I can purchase that will transfer to my new turbo that would be easier to swallow spending $$$ on.

Ive seen people put a air pressure regulator in the dash and hook it up to the wastegate. That way you cna control the amount of boost while you drive down the road
