I need BOMBING advice from you experts

OK guys i have my new 2003 CTD h. o. with the 48re. . i bought this truck for performance only. NO TOWING. NO DRIVING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. SPEED SPEED SPEED!!!! ok sorry i got excited. Since i see all the guys on this forum are as crazy as i am about there trucks and the speed of them i need some help.



With these new 03's what do you guys think would be the best mods to do. Id like to get in the 13's. What set-up should i use? i want a reliable truck that wont be blowing parts every week. I drive my truck to work which is about 20 miles away from my home and i drive up to my cabin which is 150 miles away thats the farthest i drive! Please help me out

If you haven't already, call Diesel Dynamics and talk to Keith. They're still developing the 3G stuff and have some ready to go. I've heard that there is still a thing or two to work out. Joe Donnelly has purchased one--that should speed up the process!



Getting a 2G, 12v or 24v into 13's is old news (with plenty in the 12's and a few sub-12's out there) and readily available information. Common Rail will catch up soon-just a matter of time and $$$.

well i have explored there site. I dont want to call diesel dynamics yet, simply because i am just trying to get ideas, i know those guys are good guys (from people talking around here) I dont want to waste there time if i wont buy anything yet.

Wait for the big TST or Edge boxes to come out, wait for EDM's, but get gauges (EGT, Trans. Temp) now. I've heard that fuel pressure is not a critical issue with the new injection pump, but time will tell.
