I need help...bad.....

Living in a small island in the middle of the pacific like here on Kauai has its perks. Wonderful weather, great views, good looking ladies However it also has a very bad downside. If ever you need anything big from the mainland, you must bend over and assume the position for a reaming. Here is my problem gentlemen, i am looking to buy a 16 or 20 foot livestock trailer from a company in Oklahoma. I then need to get that trailer from OK to Oakland CA. From Oakland to here will cost me $2498 for Matson to send this trailer to me, and thats on there special ag rate. So no problem, ill except that, however to get it from OK to CA will cost me a . 95 cents a mile, so that will tack on another 1500 dollars. Does anyone know of companys that will truck that trailer for any cheaper? As it is now im paying mor for shipping than trailer cost... .

Do you know of anyone on the island that has a welding shop? I would say even building your own would be cheaper? I am sure there are plans available on the web. Good luck

What's the brand of the trailer and where is it made in OK?

The company is called Oklahoma trailer sales outside of Oklahokma city i believe. Its a 20' goosneck livestock trailer. I am still trying to find a dealer closer to the west coast, but they have a heck of a deal in OK. 16' CM steel stock trailer for $2999. 00. Hell of a price if you ask me... .
