I am stuck between a SPS 66 or a SPS 62. Target goal for the truck is 500-550 hp, but it will mostly be driven at about 350 hp. Since I don't really tow, I'm leaning toward the 66, but I'm concerned that at lower hp levels the 66 might cost too much in the mpg and spool department. On the other side I think the 62 might fit my needs better, but you know how it goes, I don't want to grow out of it. :-laf
Speaking of upgrading a SPS 62, what is the difference between the 62 and the 66? Other than the obvious size difference between the compressor wheels, I believe the exhaust side on them is the same? What about the wastgates and the center section? To convert a 62 to a 66, would you just need to change the compressor housing and compressor wheel?
