Archived i need help

i have installed a banks powerpack and everything seems to work but i am having trouble with my torque converter. when i unhook the box everything seems to be ok. I don't know if it the wiring or if its the torque converter. i have hooked the box up on another truck and it works fine. the other truck that i hooked it up on was a manual so maybe that why i did not have the problem. have any of you all experienced this and if so what did you do to fix it.

What's the problem with the torque converter? Did you try calling Banks?

banks told me to unhook the wires from the box to the transmission. that really did not have an effect. i cant say wants wrong it on and automatic truck which i have not had before. the guy said that the truck would go through the gears just fine and then the torque converter does something and does not work. The box is actually on a friends truck. i was the one who had it on my Manual and had no problems with it. thanks for the help. sorry i cant tell you more about the torque converter i am just not familiar with them

sounds like the torque convertor is chattering. i have the banks kit on my truck and 3ooo miles later i had trans problems. rebuilt the trans all great since. now have 55,000 miles with the banks kit. ps after the rebuild the trans wire for banks is not hooked up. ken
