Heat Blend door cable.

Rear Bump Stops (suspension part)

Hayes Dodge dealer in Atlanta told me both are discontinued and none available. He gave these part numbers: Evaporator #4882988 and Heat core #4361181.
A nearby parts store had an aftermarket evap by Global Parts (#4711241). It is close but absolutely will not fit and is much less heavy duty. I think NAPA sells the 4 Seasons brand (TEM 282992) but the photo looks to have the same problems. Apparently the aftermarket listings are dead wrong! They won't fit a 1993.
Please respond with any sources or ideas to get my truck back on the road. Thank you, James

Have to remember most aftermarket parts will look a bit different from the original. In the end I believe it will depend on the quality of the install. May have to do some downhome fab work sometimes to get it right. Whats different from the original ?

Thanks for the response. I'm no stranger to "downhome fab" and maybe could bend the pipes and pack foam rubber around it to seal the gaps but that really is a last resort. The aftermarket ones are very obviously less efficient: about an inch thinner, 36 tube passes instead of 50, less fins per inch. These things are garbage compared to the OEM I removed. I'm doing this job because the heater sprung a leak. I'm not real sure the evap needs replacing, I just have had to add 12oz of FE12 every year and couldn't detect a leak anywhere else. Maybe my old evap could be cleaned, tested, repaired????? I've had this truck since 1997 and hope to keep it forever!
