I Need THERAPY!!!

I just sold my beloved 2001 3500 DC/HO Sport... .



My needs did not dictate owning one anymore.



I have been looking for a nice used Extended cab (QC), 4x4, 12 valver to no avail.



I give up..... I have been looking for months. I have been trying to avoid traveling 1/2 way across the country to look at and buy one.



So... . I gave into the GAS and got an old used Chevy Z71 to get me by. I have been trying to keep my costs to under $11,000 so my options were limited. I would pay a little more for a nice one.....



It is really hard to find older, untouched, un-tampered with trucks. I would rather have faded-peeling paint, some door dings and a little "surface rust", than a truck that has been painted and filled with bondo and god knows what else. IE: cover up...



Anyway what a mess... ... . I hate buying new (used) trucks.



If anyone out there knows of a truck that meets the above description... . I would like to hear about it.



Maybe I should convert the Chevy?



I can now understand why conversions happen... ... ... Frustration!!



Anyway..... Anyone know a good "Shrink"?

Oh, Litespeed! Guess what I have in my driveway for sale? I haven't been trying hard to sell it. A sign in the window at the end of the culdesac doesn't get much viewing. But the wife says I have to get on it and get it gone! See sig and readers rigs. It's probably not in the classifieds any more, but I have to put it back.

That might be interesting. I have family in Colorado and am planning to fly out there for Thanksgiving.



If it still around durning that time frame... ... That could be a real possibility.

That is actually more than half way across.



I am already flying out that way so that would be much easier to me especially since we could drive it home and bring home what ever we want from Colorado.



Especially since you cant even carry a toothbrush on a plane anymore!



If you find any good lakes let me know.



The truck is actually pretty darn nice except for the fact that I have been spoiled by the torque of the Cummins and the Chevy interior is made of peanut brittle.
