I need this part

Can someone help with locating this part ? I need the seal for the exterior door key lock cylinder. I,ve checked Dodge and they don,t list it and they do not show a pt#. there is a photo on the micro fish of the entire cylinder and latch but it does not show the seal. my seals are deteriorated and have been removed because the truck is being painted . Shure would be nice to have fresh ones . tks K. E.

Had the same problem when I was restoring my Ranchero a few years back. I ended up buying new lock cylinders from a local parts store and they came with new gaskets. Look for the ones in the red "Help" packages.



Might also check with places like Soffseal and other aftermarket weatherstrip manufacturers.

When I had mine painted last year the body shop did not have a source for those washer/seals. I got a pair from a local locksmith---apparently a fairly common item--about a dollar each.

The seal I was looking for and still unable to find was described by the paint shop as an anti-rattle device and not a water seal just there to keep the lock cylinder from rattling and chipping paint the old ones we reusable although new ones would have been best. I hope pastor Bob doesn,t send me to mudder inferrior for part failure or spellin bad, cause she can really wack hard with the numbers. Thanks for all the help and i hope someone is successful in finding a supplier. and for all of us who went to the L. B. J. schoolin house of the great socialist i could do this all in Texican but many wouldn,t be able to read it . and Pastor no matter how hard she wacks i ain,t sellin my 1st gen .
