Help! I have a short in the electical system which drains the batteries over night. Seems to go away when the I. O. D. fuse is pulled. What is the I. O. D. and where is it???

It is the power that feeds things like clock radio memory and other things. Basically if your truck is off - it feeds power to keep your computer and such running. It is located in the fuse box by your left knee while you drive - accesible inside the driver door and the dash.



That happened to a friend of mine and it turned out it was the crappy stock radio that did it.

you gotta love chrysler radios... every dodge truck I have owned, 4 now, I imediately pull the crap stereo out and put in an aftermarket.
