I was at the chainsaw shop last night for the weekly b/s session. A guy there is a diesel mechanic on med/heavy duty stuff. We got to talking about my new Dodge and this guy starts yapping about how much better the Powerstrokes are. I've known this guy a while and even built him an auto transmission for his b-van. I let him go for a while but could no longer take it, I Threw him the key and said "let's go". A Short trip was all it took to shut him up about Power-croaks!

My Dad uses a Powersless~stroke in a van that he uses for work. I give him a hard time about the motors. I tell him if they can get the power out of my 6 that they do, why doesn't his V8 make more? He can never give me a good answer. :D

I like the responses when I pull out into traffic when I have the trailer hooked up and have a car or truck on. With the mild bombs it rolls up the speed real nice. Guys can't believe that the Cummins can get 14000 or so lbs moving like it does.

I just smile and say it gets 17 to the gallon when empty too.

I can't imagine pulling with a gasser ever again.

Ya gotta love it. Today coming home from a RV trip pulling my 32ft TT I got next to a new PS and he was pulling a single axle flat trailer with 2 Quads on it. We hit a medium hill and I heard him stomp it and he gave up when the back of the trailer went by him.
