Hi guys, so after installing the pod injectors I was so jazzed about how good it is running that I finally ordered a fuelpin and governor spring. Never, ever agian will I do something like this with the pump still in the truck! I Took top off pump, freaking allen bolts suck! Installed the governor spring, took picture of furel screw with iphone, put it back togrether, starwheel in two turns exactly and smoke screw in two turns exactly. Would not start! Come to find out, all this time, who knows for how long, my electric fuel pump by the tank was not working. Ordered a carter, installed it, soldered the wires heat shring the whole wabo zabo., Put ten gallons in fuel tank, no prime. It says right on the box automatic priming. Checked fuel pressure at the lift pump, no flow. Weird, so I grabbed my blow gun, I know, blew down the hose hit the key and whala fuel pressure, 8 pounds, put back together, bled my ass off, no start, by ten that night I got frustrated and got the can of either and sprayed around turbo inlet let it sit for a second and got it started. No idle. Had linkage indexed wrong, freaking shaft kept falling. Got some mechanic wire and a bungee, put a nut on shaft wraped wire around and put tension on it, wabo zabo, put it on second line. Turned up idle all is well, then run the **** away. Luckily, Ive got reactions like a ninja warrior. Turned the key off it stopped. Picture of the fuel screw didnt take on my phone. I have no freaking idea where my fuel screw is supposed to be. I thought ten to twelve threads. But its run off like five times. Turn it down one turn does not want to ****ing run. Drained fuel filter, bled agian, **** wont run. WTF? Thank you for your time!
