I had always thought the Cummins ISC and the CAT 3126B were options on the Ford Commercial trucks. I was over looking at the Ford web site at their commercial line. When I went to look at engine options for the F650/750 I see mostly ISB configurations and a few CAT 3126B configurations. And the Powerstroke engine is available on the F650 only. No Cummins ISC listed anywhere.

Maybe I just forgot but didn't the F650/750 previously offer an ISC option? I don't really need the ISC. I was just looking around the web at all the different applications for Cummins engines. Just curios.

You can reach this site by going to www.ford.com and follow the links or just go straight to the Ford Commercial vehicle web site www.commtruck. ford.com Click on "Showroom". Follow the links to F650 or F750 and then click on "Build and Price". Scroll down and pick a chassis configuration then scroll down to the engine options. The web site is a little slow.

I have only seen the "B" series on the option list. IMHO - The "C" series would be 2 much motor for that sized peacup.

Too much power??? Think Joe D, Nowel(HVAC), Dave Mitchell, etc... . and you think the ISC would be too much power??? There is such a thing?:D :p ;)

I've seen a few of these before, and from what the owners say, the ISB will outpull the Cat. :D

The ISC was never available in the Ford medium-duty trucks. However, the C8. 3 (mechanical inj) was available in the F800 of the 80's. A 7. 8L Ford diesel was also an option, along with the good old 5. 9.
