Autowriter, thanks for posting this, it reminded me that I need to grease mine before leaving for Arizona. I made my own grease gun adapter quite a few years back. It works well, as the tip I ground fits nicely in the grease cup on the joint. Drilling the small hole the length of if was a challenge. I think I used a the non threaded part of a 1/4 bolt to make it.

Never greased the one on my 2005 ram. Never had any problems. Traded on my 2019

Never greased my 2011. Cuz it didn’t have one.

Thats the difference between the DANA-SPICER and the AAM Shafts. Both are supplier of FCA.
