I simply had to laugh....

I stopped by a local heavy diesel repair shop to get an oil filter and new belt for the truck... what I found to be so funny was the number of Navistar equipt fords there were awaiting repair... . 6 of them all in a pretty row.

The service tech actually brought this to my attention. Seems the tech is in the process of buying himself a dodge with a cummins simply because he works on trucks all day long and the last thing he wants is to work on his own... imagine that.

I had a very similar experience. I was at work, and the Powerchoke rescue truck I drive was dead. So I was talking to the mechanics about stuff, and when they heard that I drive a Cummins, they both stopped what they were doing, got all misty-eyed, and said how much they wished that we could drive firetrucks with Cummins engines so that their days would be so much easier. I guess those greasemonkeys were pretty darn smart!
