A new beginning

I guess I should include the money I've saved as well. Before the TDR I would have had my brakes done at dealer. I did them myself just the other night and it was a lot easier than I thought. Probably save me a couple hundred in labor

I was just talking about mods I've done since I became a TDR member. My truck was $27K out the door. I put $1500 down on a new clutch a week later, $800 in tires 2 months after that, $300 for my hitch (thats w/ a discount, $60 for my K&N (which is out of the truck now thank God), $40 for my floor matts, $20 a week to keep a black truck clean, $200 a month in fuel, 2 turtle doves and a partrige in a pear tree!

When you're on the website, click on the accessories button by Dallas Speed Shop. On the left hand side click on "DODGE", click on "RAM" (not RAM 4DR), then click on "EXHAUST". The exhaust brake should be the only part that comes up. Shipping was less than $10. 00 to Utah. I originally came by it on accident.

I can't wait to see how things work out. I am still on the fence with Jacobs, BD & Pacbrake. I found good & bad points of each. I like the way the Jacobs is integrated into the truck, i. e. : computer hook up, warm up feature, switch power hook up. (i've already been through the install instructions on the internet) I just wished the elbow opening was bigger, I don't need higher EGT's in the mountains where I be pulling my 5th wheel.

Thanks,

Troy
