I think I screwed up. Mobil1 in new truck

I changed my oil in my new truck @ 1400 because the oil smelled burnt. The jiffy lube sold me on Mobil 1 syn. (said that's what dodge called for)



Now with 4500 on her and not broke in maybe I should switch back to dyno oil untill broken in ???

I may be wrong but I think the new ones are deliverd with synthecic. .

Someone else will verify this if Iam wrong,

its ok, new synthetics can be used while in the breakin period. mobil is dyno oil anyway if you want to be technical (still petroleum base stock)

Mobil 1 is the wrong oil in your truck. when you switch try Delvac 1 truck oil. PS Mobil says 25,000 befor switch.

If it's Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel, you're fine. That's basically repackaged Delvac 1.
