After months of trying to fix the "wait to start light/ cranking but doesn't fire" issue I've come to the conclusion that it's time to try a replacement ECM.

Anyone have a source other than "auto computer exchange" for ECM's? I spoke with someone at ACE who said that they never have any ECM's in stock for out trucks & only offer a repair service. I'd rather not have my truck down for a week or longer, could be a lot longer... .

I've just started searching this afternoon so I'm hoping that ya'all will be able to save some time and hopefully some green too. :D

Cheers

Mike

What every you do DO NOT TRY "GO ECM.com" Although there web page looks great and he will promise you the world They will rip you off . He took my ECM and never did a thing. I have also heard bad things about auto computer exchange. I got a ECM from "go ECM Diesel". They are on the internet. Not only do the sell the ecm but they program it using the engine part number. Be aware that there is a $200 core charge and if you want next day it's about $60 more. All in all I am very pleased with mine.
