It's no that the flaps from the dealer are bad. I just don't like advertising for them. I want some de-badged with a RAM logo in chrome or even just a nicer looking piece of chrome.

Go to www.mopar.com and click on Dodge accessories, select your year and vehicle type(Ram 1500,2500,3500). Then click on exterior accessories, then spash guards, ... . they have numerous ones,... . here are a couple,

Hope this helps,

Randall

check out duraflap.com. they have some really nice setups too. a little spendy, but worth it. they are really heavy duty, and nice looking.

Another DuraFlap vote, that is where I got mine, custom made, with all stainless hardware including the bottom custom cut weight. I have met the owner and he is a first class guy.

Why not do what I did. Take off the flaps you have and turn them around and put them on the opposite side of the truck. Spray the advertising with black undercoating and then you no longer see it.

If you want to add some decorative chrome or Dodge logos, just drill and attach them to the flap before you mount the flaps.

You can do this if you want to save some cash for other accessories and/or want to use what you already have. If not, there are many choices available.

Good Luck,

Chuck

This is an interesting idea, but saving the equivalent of two tanks worth of fuel on a $60K truck just doesn't seem right. If I bought a 1st gen maybe.

I'm working with Dennis at Duraflap to get custom flaps made for the truck. All of the rear flaps out are 20" wide. This doesn't work well for the Megacab with the new style fender skirts. It takes an 18" wide flap.

If you go to the Cummins Power they have a set of Cummins/Ram mud flaps that look cool. They have a red ram's head and a white "c" logo on them. I had thought about purchasing. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I have been using these for some time now, I always get commits on them, maybe you would like them too??

Did a search on mud flaps and came up with thread... . just ordered some Duraflaps from Dennis. Super nice guy. He told me to inform you guys that TDR members get a 10% discount.

Additionally, these guys specialize in mud flaps for lifted trucks.

Maybe the UHP will leave me alone now Oo.

mo flaps

I make my own out of belting material. Cut it to any size or shape I want or need add what ever chrome or ss weights, logo's, or what not, and they are heavy enough not to flap in the breeze.

There are many thickness of belting and you can custom cut. JMO
