I want to hear more turbo...

Hello fellow tdrs,

I have read a lot about the different filter combos and have a k&n but I don't like the oil it's leaving on the turbo, I am looking for the filter combo that lets the turbo scream the loudest. I would appreciate any ideas on how to get premium turbo sound. thanks,

If you want to here the turbo scream then you will want to go with a aFe air filter. If you look in the Geno's catalog you got with issue 43 you will see the filter I'm talk en about.

I have a aFe on my truck and it screams. Oo. Oo.

Did you already remove the silencer ring?? If not then do so it will help with the sound

"Premium Turbo Sound" , nice way to put it. Taking the silencer ring out was a good start on increasing turbo noise. IMO, if you want even more turbo noise buy a Scotty II Air Filter and a 4. 5" hole saw.
