Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) I was moving my torque plate when...

I DROPPED the little stupid screw that holds the plate down. I couldn't find it at all. I do have one still holding tight, but need another. Does any one have a part # so I can get one at my Dodge dealer?

If you can't find it on the ground, any chance it fell in the pump????

I would pull the top back off and sweep the bottom with a pencil magnet. I hope it didnt fall down inside. Also check by the front suspention tower or if its 2wd check by the upper a arm.

I doubt the dealer would have the screw. Will have to go to a pump shop and get one.

fish around with a magnet if (or in case) it fell in the pump. you do not want that screw rolling around with the governor assembly spinning!

I watched it roll down past the pump, so I know that it is not inside. I just need to know what size it is or part number. So, i will go to Home Depot to pick one up, or I'll just make one.
