Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) I wish I had $6500

My Uncle just called me and said a guy that lives down the street from him has his truck for sale

1998 12v ext cab long bed auto 4x4, black very good body, maroon interior that is in good shape, and only 121,000 miles

I told my uncle to ask him what was wrong with it and he said nothing at all. .

I wish I had the money laying around cause I'd go pick it up in a minute... I need to check my credit card limit... .

Its in Illinois... I can't do it right now because I have over 4K in parts in the process of going on the truck and its in about a 1000 pieces...

Its in Jerseyville, Illinois... I havent seen it but my uncle says its in really good condition... I can get the phone number for the guy if someone is really interested

My first thought is......

Maroon interior?

I dont think they made maroon int in a 98. Mine's black ext and grey interior.

IIRC there was a choice of gray or tan.

By the time we hear the facts about this truck, if it's really for sale, a few things may occur,,,



1. The truck sold already.

2. The owner decided to keep it.

3. It was actually a 4x2.

4. it's actually a 24 Valve

5. It has a Salvaged title.

6. It has a Blown motor

7. transmission is dust.

8. Last but not least,,, Wife decided not to part with it.
