I10 from florida to I5

A friends son will be leaving next week do drive from florida to the west coast all the way to I5. He will be taking I 10 all the way. Does anyone know what he can expect while driving thru the area where the hurricane was ? Road conditions ? Gas availability ?

I delivered big gensets from San Antonio and Houston TX all the way to NW FL last year and the fuel stations were up and running pretty quickly using gensets. Easy to check on the Internet too.

Lots of apps for fuel, probably just yell at Google fuel near "x".

GasBuddy is one app that I have used in the past that's pretty popular.

I just looked, there were a decent bunch of options.
