I recently replaced the IAT sensor in BlackSheep at 510,xxx miles and I presume it was never changed before I purchased the truck with 239,xxx miles. I did clean the IAT once but it made no noticeable changes.
When I installed the RV275's the engine ran as smooth as a sewing machine, sounded so sweet. Over time the engine still runs good, but there came to be an "edginess" to the sound of the engine. Codes were never thrown concerning the IAT.
When I replaced the IAT it instantly returned the silky smooth sewing machine sound! I am hoping the fuel mileage will also go up a little bit.
Thought you might like the observation.
Godspeed,
Trent
