Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) IAT Sensor

Has anyone heard anything about problems with the Intake Air Temp. Sensor? I came across this the other day. What do you think?

Personally, I haven't found any issues with mine other than getting a little black and oily from the exhaust brake. Others will speak differently:

I guess I should have done a little more home work,thanks for the reply and I'll check mine out.
