Ice fishing

I have a friend visiting me and he's into ice fishing. He need some new gear, and I tried to find some info and prices on the net. Since there are so many outdoor people here on the forum maybe some of the members could please help out.

My friend are looking for a power ice auger. Any here with experience where we could get "most bang for the bucks"? I found some at G I Joe's at around $350-$440. Any do's and don'ts?

I'd check out Cabela's website. If they don't have it... . it doesn't exist.
