OK-

I E-mailed Hugh and the response was, Reunion show on Sept. 2 and rerun on the 9th, both shows at 9 pm, I guess at eastern time. Carla said that this question might be addressed but could not at this point say for sure. She also said that there might not be enough satellites that far north, [I thought that there were evry where] then again she was not sure. So I guess we'll have to waite and see.

Aren't the Russians using GPS to locate the areas they are claiming for there extened borders?

Listening to this conversation, I think the GPS would be good for the white out conditions.

When it is sunny out, clear conditions, etc, who cares, GPS is just a toy then to pass the time.

PS.

I am not a trucker and have not driven in those conditions. Just bench racing here.

Besides, I dont have big enough garbonzas to drive on ice even when I had the chance in MN in the middle of the winter several years back.

I don't think so. If it were me, I would want to be somewhere I could pull off safely during a White out, Off the ice hopefully. But they have good forcasts so this would not happen. This would be an other good question to ask, Hugh.
