Ice

Is it normal to get ice on the inside of mi windshield.



This morning it was 10 deg. outside and I had ice on the inside of my windshield. Not a thick layer, I was able to scrape it off with a credit card. but it covered almost the entire windshield.



Any suggestions ?

Or worse...



Leaking third brake light, leaking cab lights, leaking windows (windshield or back window)... heater core leaking (should smell that)...



Depends on how much... might be worth checking out anyway.

Hmmm - UP here if I pull out at -30c and the truck isn't really warmed up, my windshield will ice up solid on the inside. . Just the moisture condensing and freezing. . I keep a scraper handy to clear until there is enough heat to blow it away!!

Is it possible for condensation to be present in the defroster ducts and then as the truck cools at night the vapor freezes on the windshield... ... . just an idea.

When I sleep in the cab without idling and the the temps drop into the 20's, I will wake with frost on the inside of the glass... . moisture from my breath while sleeping!

Even HOT air was been known to freeze if it's cold enough!:-laf:-laf
