ICQ # ???

I have been trying to find out what a ICQ # is. I have looked at members profiles... most are blank where the ICQ # goes so I guess most of us don't know what this # is. Some have their TDR membership # there and some have a 7 didgit # listed. What is a ICQ number???

ICQ is a realtime chat service that lets users chat together online. It is (or at least was) free, just gotta sign up at the mirabilis icq site. You will be assigned your own number.
