I'm currently working out a deal with a member involving PW 185 injectors but we are having difficulty ID ing them. . What #s should be stamped in the inj bodies. They do have 5 hole nozzles. . any other info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. .

5 holes is a good start. Look in the archives. They listed part numbers for the injectors, tips, etc, about 4 years ago.

Thanks Daniel,

the injectors showed up yesterday. . there are no external part#s at all on the body or tips. . Don't even have "bosch" stamped on them. . They do have 5 holes in the tips. . the tip shape&spray pattern/angle seems to be a lot like the stock 6 holers...

Is there any way to dissassemble them and find a part# without messing up the pop-off adjustments?

I found this info in the archives... .

The injector #0432133875 is a Bosch #.

The Cummins injector assembly # is 3919744.

The Cummins nozzle# is 3919745, the Bosch nozzle # is 0433175040.

Opening pressure is 245/253 Bar.

The sealing washer is #3906659.

It's a 7mm tip, used on 6 cyl B engines, CPL#856.

Well,

I just found some numbers on my (known) 185s in my 93. I used a mirror and found the #s 9744 on the top of the injector body which go along with the above info... .

Man, I was really hoping these trade ones were 185s... . there looks to be some tooling marks on them from adjustments or maybe they were retipped?

Anyone ever see a set of unmarked 185s?
