Idaho 2 Day Bomb Party, March 1 And 2

AT CUBBYS PLACE, NEAR CALDWELL IDAHO. actually marsing id. harold bowers [hbowers here, cubby on another site] is hosting the bomb party march 1 and 2. got enuff projects lined up to make a 2 day deal of it. got place to park some rv s and will have campfire beerdrinkin bs sesions fri and sat nites. potluck and chilli feed for lunch



got several projects already lined up. harold [of fast idler fame] is expert with the kdp fixes 89 thru 99s. has jigs for both 1st and 2nd gens. lon and jay will be doin p pump timing as they have the stuff and be xperts at that. . harold also is good with plate changes. got room in the shop for 3, maybe 4 rigs so we can crank em out. got some other projects lined up too



expecting a decent turnout. otta be fun

you betcha folks from utah are welcome. as steve said these events are open to all. we have had utah folks arive at previous events and have enjoyed their company greatly.



this time, as in the past, we will have several traveling a long journey to attend the event here by boise. western w. , eastern wa, western or, eastern or, utah, possibly a member from wyoming. norhtern and central id, eastern id. and ?? ?? we hope you make the trip josparkz. the event should be fun. many will be staying both friday and saturday nites. as you can see we are expecting a good turnout. i have received many pm s and many local and out of the area folks have contacted me about it. i'm looking fwd to a fun weekend eventOo.

Muddy... . If weather permitting, and "OK' with you guys, I'll swing up Sat. sometime around noon... Don't need to bomb anything just a shake down trip to test Piers new turbo at different elevations. I'll spend the nite with you guys and Hoist a few.

Muddy... . give me some directions comming up from SLC to the event. Understand from Jones you will be here in Ogden next week sometime, if I can sneak off work I'll come up and see ya.

If you come in to Nampa on 84 you take the 3rd exit. I can't remember the name but the first is Garrity (where the car dealerships are), the second is Franklin Rd. , and the third is right at the Sugar Beet Factory. Anyway as you come down to the stop light at the bottm of the off ramp you take a right. You go to the stop sign right in front of the sugar beet factory and take a left. This is Franklin Rd. You continue on Franklin Rd and it becomes Hwy 55. This same road takes you all the way to Marsing. Just as you are coming into Marsing there is a big butte on the left (and before the road curves to cross the river) this is Lizard Butte.



The rest I copied from a post of Harolds on DTR



(Lizard Butte) the highway will curve to right toward

Marsing. this is where you go straight ahead to stop sign,

instead of making the curve. keep going south (you are

on Marsing RD. ) after a half mile the road curves left.

go another half mile and turn right on Lloyd Lane. my

place is 3rd hse on left on Lloyd lane. green hse, greenshop in back. if you are west bound on I 84, take exit 35 when you

get to Nampa. turn right at signal light, get in left lane and

turn left at next signal light. you are on Karcher rd. going

west, which becomes SH 55. keep going west and follow

above directions. clear as mud? you can call me at 208-

Anyone that is attending that has a V-band clamp for a HX35/16 (exhaust side non wastegated), could you bring it please? I'm making an adapter to run my 35/16 with my HX40 down pipe while my 40's are at the turbo doctor and can't find one locally as of yet.
