Announcing: Boise Area’s 3rd Diesel Pickup “Dyno Day”



Where: Meridian Motorsports, Meridian, ID



When: Saturday, October 18, 2003, 9:00 AM to ???



What: Here is an opportunity for diesel pickup owners to run their rigs on a DynoJet dynamometer to see what kind of power their rigs are actually putting to the ground. This event is open to all diesel owners. Trucks can be stock or modified (no studded tires, please).



Cost: Each session on the dyno is targeted for $45. 00 for 3 runs



Details: This event is being coordinated by area Dodge Turbo Diesel owners, but, as indicated, is open to all diesel pickups. The owner will receive a print-out of the results of the session. Each session should take about 20 minutes.

I have to warn you muddy, my wife already has thrown rocks at the guys at the bike shop! She calls them all sorts of horrible things. She once said that H. D. stands for "Hundred Dollars" cuz anything in there costs at least that. Wait til she sees the PDR catalog!!!!!!!!!!!! If there is another bombing episode here, I would like to watch someone do the lever adjustment, and some of those type of maximizing tricks. Probably going to get a #6,depends on what Chappel(SP) thinks. I do tow occasionally, and can not spring for the trans yet. Maybe a convertor and VB? Anyway we`ll see what happens. Don.

got several lined up for the rollers. even a ford whose owner said never met a dodge that he couldnt beat. also a good probability a 230mph salt flat racer will dyno.



handed out many flyers and made several ph calls and several responded they be lookin fwd to the event. looks as if several others have been busy spreadin the word too



bullydog will be makin the trip out again to put some rigs on the rollers. be interested to see what new stuff they might have. gale bangs folks were interested but then later decided they cant make the trip this time. wonder why they wont publicly dyno where folks can check out the actual increase banks products can produce



anyway,,,,,,, sounds like, so far, a good turnout shld be xpectd

hehehehe,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,for the dynoday we have dodge, gm, and fard dlrs lined up to bring the latest samples of their products to dyno for a comparison. well,,,,,,,,,,,,the fard dlr infrmed me ythat now they will not attend. he said he is in fear that due to the serious issues they are havin w/ the 6. 0, it would prlly go tu on the dyno,,,,,or,,,,,,on the way to the dyno. that dont say much for the 6. 0 huh

Muddy, I know an idiot,oops,kid with a new powerjoke. At his age, we can shame him into blowing,oops,running it up on the rollers. Hey, has anyone who will be there ever done the lever adjustment? I`d like to see it done so I can do mine. Ordered the tool set from Cummins today, should be here 7-10 days. Now just need to learn how to time,etc,etc. Don.

gonna do the bomb fire like usual along with consumption of [] around the fire
