Announcing: Boise Area’s 10th Diesel Pickup “Dyno Day”

Where: Meridian Motorsports, Meridian, ID



When: Saturday DECEMBER 9TH, 2006, 9:00 AM to ???



What: Here is an opportunity for diesel pickup owners to run their rigs on a DynoJet dynamometer to see what kind of power and torque their rigs are actually putting to the ground. This event is open to all diesel owners. Trucks can be stock or modified (no studded tires, please).



Cost: Each session on the dyno is targeted for $45. 00 for 3 runs.

Cost to redyno later in the day is $35. 00 for 3 runs.

Details: This event is being coordinated by area Dodge Turbo Diesel owners (IDAHO BOMBERS), but, as indicated, is open to all diesel pickups. The owner will receive a print-out of the results of the session. Each session should take about 20 minutes.

The Idaho Bombers also meet for a monthly dinner meeting the 4th wed of each month at 7 pm at the Golden Corral in Nampa. We start arriving for a bs session and to admire each others trucks at 6:30 pm in the nw corner of the parking lot.

I'll try to make it to this one if the roads are nice. I was there about a month ago tuning my truck and got the numbers in my sig. Since then I think I figured out where I want to run the secondary wastegate at.
 
I talked to a few guys I know. Looks like possibly 3 Rams and 2 Dirtymaxes going.



I'm not sure I will run the dyno... . I don't really have $45 to spend on something like that. I don't see the point in 3 runs since I have nothing on my truck to adjust. I'd pay $15 for 1 run though.

nate, i checked on getting a discout for doing just 1 one. only 43 bucks. :D



keep in mind that it is the hookup and smoke evac hookup that is the pita and the actual runs are effortless. it is well worth it to dyno and see where ya are at.

Muddy, what time in the morning will it start? Depending on weather, I might come up early same day and leave afternoon same day?? Did a few more changes I would like to check out... :-laf :-laf
 
steve, starts at 9 am officially but probably start hookin up the 1st rig at 8. 30.

Well the transmission on my truck starting slipping yesterday, so I won't be bringing the truck. I'm going to catch a ride with my buddy Josh in the Duramax. Should be there around 9AM or so.
 
I am still comitted but I won't be there untill later in the afternoon like around 4 but can't wait didn't get everything done that I wanted to but oh well
 
Yup I'll be there around 9AM or so. Won't stay all that long... I've got other things that need tending to.
