The one in Burley this weekend, me and a few friends want to go.

Anyone have more info on the whereabouts in Burley, the cost and also the time it's starting?

Thanks

It is at the Burley Fairgrounds. If you need directions let me know. It starts at 7:00 but if you are pulling you need to be there before 5:00. The cost to pull is $35 and if you just want to watch it is $10 for adults $5 for kids under 12 and 6 and under are free.

Now is that 7PM right? A few details on how to get to the fairground would be great, I've never been to Burley.

I'm just going to watch. My truck isn't registered and my transmission isn't all that healthy. . I don't need to make it worse right now.

My buddy got ahold of the guy that runs Rocky Mountain Pullers and he said all you need is a receiver mount with no ball. (ie... D ring). He's going to there with his Duramax. I'd bring my truck, but I'm still waiting on my tags to show up from Alaska.

Well I just got home. Had a great time. Couple diesel trucks, but not many. There was a big *** tractor running a 12 cylinder engine... sometihng like 2000hp, 6000ft/lbs torque!

I know me and cahammer had a "Smokin" good time. :-laf ok that was a bad pun.

If you need any more info on any of these pulls you can also email me. I check that more often than tdr.

So you had the single wheel Ram, or the duallie?

I should be able to make it to the Preston pulls as well as Josh with the D Max (pulled in Burely). If someone can help me out with directions that would be awesome.

I just need to have a helmet and something to hook to my hitch, correct? Also does it need to be a full face helmet or will a skateboard helmet work?

Nate,

Are you going to Bully Dog Days? If you are, a few of us are going from Bully Dog to the Preston Pulls you could follow us.

I was the one with single wheels and the unhooked exhaust pipe that blew smoke everywhere. :-laf I knew I should have welded that piece on!

If you have a stinger without a ball in it just bring that and you can borrow a clevis form the sled. They usually keep a few on the sled just in case. Your helmet needs to be more like a motorcycle helmet. If you don't have one you can borrow one from one of us there. I got a pretty nice one from Walmart for not too much $$. It would be nice to have more diesels pulling around here!

dont know about preson but i'm trying to get my outfit done for dog days.

got some guys at work buggin me to pull but feel like i'll have a bad showing in a shortbox.

For the Preston pulls, is the entrance $35? And what time does it start? I'm guessing in the AM since the BDD pulls are in the evening?

Morgan was origannly planned for the 17th and a few weeks ago they changed it to the 10th. I was a little ticked off becauseI really wanted to go to Morgan. Bully Dog is not doing pulls this year. Dyno is from 8am-3pm after that they are doing Dirt Drags in Pocatello. Those of us that don't want to do the dirt drags are going down to Preston right after we get done at the dyno. Hook fee is usually $35 and they usually start at 7pm and you need to be there by 5.

Summit, I have seen some shortboxes pull right out the gate so don't let that hold you up. :D
